# ZCode Independent Host Path Establishment (2026-08-24) · English Projection

Non-canonical human projection of `TCS-EVENT-ZCODE-HOST-PATH-ESTABLISHMENT-20260824.tcs`. Canonical semantics live in the sibling `.tcs` and `.declaration.gir.json`.

## What happened
|
||
|
|
BingShuo entered the Zhuyuan persona system via the ZCode host for the first time. Directive: recover from the codex main path (qoder/trae are quota-relief branches), establish an independent zcode path serving as **road signs and anchors for future memoryless ZCode instances**, and anchor dynamically to the codex main path.
|
||

## The problem codex solves
|
||
|
|
Host conversations have no long-term memory; compaction leaves only summaries, which lose the source-point "why". Codex's solution: store BingShuo's verbatim natural language as SHA-256 anchored task files on disk; enforce fail-closed re-reads of the original text at four host lifecycle points (SessionStart / UserPromptSubmit / PreToolUse / PreCompact); keep TCS source compiled to GIR as canonical, never summaries.
